Privacy Policy

1. Information stored on your device

Information you enter for your work may include customer names and contact details, job names and addresses, notes, service prices, line items, material or expense information, photos, receipts, estimates, invoices, payment status, and business profile information.

In the planned V1 architecture, this business content is stored locally in the app's private storage on your device by default. Jotbrim does not operate a cloud database that automatically uploads this business content.

2. Backups, exports, and sharing

Jotbrim may let you export PDFs or a backup file and choose where to save or share them using your device's system file picker or share sheet. The destination may be another app or storage provider chosen by you, such as Google Drive or another compatible provider installed on your device.

When you choose an external provider or recipient, that provider or recipient processes the file under its own terms and privacy practices. Jotbrim does not receive a copy merely because you choose to export or share it.

3. App analytics, diagnostics, and configuration

Jotbrim is planned to use Firebase services for app analytics, crash diagnostics, and remote configuration. Depending on the final production SDK configuration, these services may process technical information such as app-instance identifiers, device and operating-system information, app version, usage events, crash stack traces, diagnostics, and related app state.

Jotbrim's analytics design prohibits sending customer names, phone numbers, addresses, job-note text, photo contents, receipt contents, or invoice/estimate contents as analytics event parameters or crash-log text.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Jotbrim Plus purchases are planned to be processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat. Jotbrim does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Purchase-related systems may process information such as product identifiers, purchase and subscription status, transaction history, store account context, an anonymous RevenueCat App User ID, and technical information needed to validate and restore purchases.

5. Advertising

The planned V1 release does not include a third-party advertising SDK and is not designed to sell personal data for advertising. If this changes in a future release, this policy and the applicable store disclosures will be updated before that change is released.

6. Permissions

• Camera: requested only when you choose to take a job photo or receipt photo.
• Photos: the app is designed to use the Android system photo picker for user-selected media rather than broad library access when possible.
• Notifications: may be requested when you enable reminders or other notification-based features.
• Internet: used for services such as Firebase telemetry/configuration, Google Play Billing, and RevenueCat subscription management.

Jotbrim is not intended to request location, contacts, SMS, call-log, microphone, or all-files storage access for the planned V1 feature set.

7. Retention and deletion

Local business records remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app, subject to device and operating-system behavior. User-created backup files remain wherever you chose to save them until you delete them there.

Technical analytics, diagnostics, and purchase records handled by service providers are retained according to the applicable service configuration, legal obligations, and provider policies. Because Jotbrim does not require an app account in V1, there is no Jotbrim account profile to delete.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the app's architecture. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device and any backup files you create.

9. Children

Jotbrim is intended for trade and business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children.

10. International processing

Service providers used for analytics, diagnostics, billing, and subscription management may process technical or purchase-related information in countries other than your own, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Jotbrim's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The updated version will show a revised "Last updated" date.
